The PHOTO in the mail is the "Pulitzer prize" winning photo taken in 1994 during the Sudan famine.
The photo depicts a famine stricken child crawling towards an United Nations food camp, located a kilometer away.
>The vulture is waiting for the chile to die so that it can eat it. This picture shocked the whole world.
No one knows what happened to the child, including the photographer Kevin Carter who left the place as soon as the photo was taken.
>Three months later he committed suicide due to depression
we often complain abt how tough life is
forgetting tat there are ppl out there suffering
we like to compare ourselves with those better, richer ppl
but why not compare ourself with those ppl in the picture
we are 10 times fortunate than them
they don even have a chance to have proper meal served on their table
yet we are wasting and pouring away the food we cant finish
becos food and water juz come so easily for us
so many ppl juz never give a second tot
of how life would have been if were to be caught in the situation like the ppl in the pic
these pictures are a lil turning point for me
they made me realise how unappreciative i was of wat i'm havin now
i'm making the effort to finish the food that is on my plate no matter how full or how bad it taste
even if i will grow fatter with each bite
it serves as a reminder to me abt how fortunate i am
and most imptly
never to take things for granted
the reason why i'm postin these pictures is to remind everyone out there to
stop grumbling over the handphone that your parents are not buying for you
stop thinking tat u have the worst parents becos they jus wont get u a branded bag
stop thinking that u have nth and life couldnt have been worser
u can have everything in the world
but u juz don realise
cherish wat u have which others dont
